Hello, I am Jacqueline Radford. I am the Family and Consumer Sciences Teacher and FCCLA Advisor. I also drive a bus route for the school district. This is my 16th year to teach. I live in Crescent and have for many years. My family moved to Hennessey in the ‘70’s, and I graduated High School there. I was raised with two brothers and two sisters. I was active in band, choir, and FHA at the time. My mom and dad still reside south of Hennessey.
I attended Oklahoma Christian and graduated with a degree in Home Economics with a minor in Child
Development. I married Mark Radford after graduating, also an OC grad. We have been married 33
years. He owns and operates the Logan County Courier Newspaper. We have 4 sons and one daughter-
in-law. All four sons graduated high school at Crescent.
Our oldest is married and is in management with a High Speed Internet company, Airosurf. He graduated from UCO with a degree in Business. His wife also graduated from UCO with an Elementary Ed. Degree. They live in Edmond. Our second son is a pilot in the Air Force. He graduated from OSU with a full scholarship from the Air Force ROTC program. He trained at Sheppard Air Force base and graduated as an ENJJPT (Euro NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training) officer, and is currently stationed at Tinker where he flies the E3 AWACS aircraft. He will be promoted to Captain this fall. Our third son played football for OSU as a sophomore and just this summer graduated from “Youth of America” College at Church of the Harvest in OKC. He is currently serving as Youth Pastor at Church of the Harvest Edmond Campus. Our fourth son is a junior at OSU majoring in Political Science with a minor in Sociology. His goal is to eventually work for OSBI. I am proud to be their mom.
This is my second time to work for Covington-Douglas as the Family and Consumer Science Teacher. This
Will be my 4th year of teaching here for the second time. I taught at CDHS for 4 years before Mrs. Stinchcomb replaced me. Then I came back when she decided to stay home with her second child. It is good to be back and now instructing students who were in elementary when I taught here before. I am also teaching brothers and sisters of students I taught earlier. This makes teaching here fun!
